Direct Mail Generates Income
I design an annual holiday appeal for the Obsessive Compulsive Foundation of Chicago. This one direct mail piece generates most of their operating funds for the entire year. Every year we include a 2-page letter with stories about how OCD Chicago has helped individuals deal with their OCD. It’s mailed in a #10 envelope and includes a donation reply card and return envelope. The cost of designing, printing and mailing this yearly letter is minimal in relation to the donations it brings in.
